Bespoke Test Facility

Red Marine has the experience and knowledge to provide a unique service to our customers and facilitate practical testing to prove safety critical components or define mechanical properties such as fatigue or ultimate strength.

Our engineers are familiar  with the development of purpose made load measuring transducers, and a range of other instrumentation and data logging equipment.

We can also offer an on-site measurement service to trouble shoot mechanical systems and find the root cause of reliability, noise or efficiency problems.

In the last year we have successfully coordinated the development, supply and testing of pipelay tensioner pads. Red Marine developed a Test Facility to enable testing of the pads to determine friction and compliance characteristics and back up analysis.
