At Red Marine we have the ability to carry out in-house Friction Testing. We have the equipment and skill to complete the following tasks:

• Practical Testing of Pipe and Tensioner Pads to determine Friction Properties
• Recording of Pad Stiffness Characteristics
• Pipe Diameters 100mm to 620mm (coating outside diameter)
• Testing of Umbilical and Flexibles  Products
• Friction Testing on 2D Plaques
• Capability to develop test equipment to meet customers requirements
